This one might come as a surprise. While Malibu Seafood might be known for its delicious fried fish, they have a great menu of healthy choices as well, including fantastic grilled fish dinners, from fresh ahi to seabass. And few places scream 'vacation' louder than its charming, ocean-abutting patio.

For a taste of la dolce vita by the sea, head to this Country Mart favorite. Tra di Noi boasts some of the best pastas and pizzas in Malibu, and on summer nights its beautiful patio is one of the best spots in Malibu.
This special spot isn't exactly a secret, but if you're looking for the ultimate-summer experience (re: Instagram) and willing to fork over some cash for it, this is the place to go.

If your idea of a great day off includes a calories-be-damned mentality, then this homey Heathercliff favorite should be your first pit stop. Lily's breakfast burritos are legendary for good reason, and their homemade hot sauce is worth the drive on its own.
