Terence Koh [Artist]

By: Editor | March 03, 2011 | Ten by Ten

Terence Koh, also known under the alias “asianpunkboy”, is a passionate avant-garde artist whose new gothic art style has made him something of an icon in the creative world. His mixed media sculptures, photographs, and installations leak of temptation, audacity and decadence. Dark and daring to say the least, Koh’s work exudes violent yet fragile undertones with slightly more than a hint of sexual innuendos. The artist has displayed his work in several major exhibitions throughout Europe and the US, including the infamous Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. Intense and enticing, Koh’s creations bring the audience outside of their comfort zone and into his ostensibly intimidating world.
