Tel Aviv Fashion Week Debut

With Fashion Weeks popping up all over the globe in recent years, Tel Aviv followed in the wake of Sao Paolo and Singapore with the help of designer Roberto Cavalli to unveil its first Fashion Week in 30 years.

The designer’s involvement also prognosticates a close relationship between Milan and Tel Aviv for future Fashion Weeks.  Each season in Tel Aviv will feature a Milan-based designer and, in turn, every season an up and coming Israeli designer will have their collection featured as part of the new designer showcase during Milan Fashion Week.

The collections featured a wide array of designs from local students and alumni from the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem to veterans of the Israeli fashion scene.
