Surfrider Charity Event
It’s shaping up to be another beautiful weekend here in Malibu! On Saturday, grab your towel, sunscreen, and a camera and come to Surfrider Beach on PCH, just west of the pier, to check out the 6th Annual Celebrity Expression Session for the non-profit Surfrider Foundation. The event brings together celebrities from music, film, and television to raise awareness and funds for the protection of our world’s oceans, and to continue campaigns for clean water, open beach access, and coastal preservation.
Celebrities scheduled to surf include Eric Avery, Eric Balfour, David Chokachi, Brian Geraghty, Martyn Lenoble, Chad Lowe, John Slattery, Jesse Spencer, Ross Thomas, and Sam Trammell. Part of the Malibu Surfing Association’s MSA Classic, the Celebrity Expression Session is a great opportunity for fans to watch their favorite celebrities show off their surfing skills in an hour-long free surf.
Arrivals begin at 9:30am with the session beginning at noon. The event is sponsored by Cali Bamboo and Barefoot Wine.
