Sometimes there just isn’t enough time in a shopping day to visit every designer you’d like to. Thankfully, the latest Salvation store opened its doors to Malibu residents in July revealing shelves stocked with Hurley, Nike and Converse. Versions of this winning shop have already sprung roots in Laguna Beach and Irvine in 2009, and now Salvation’s third location will bring the multi-brand concept right here to The Malibu Village off PCH.
If Salvation’s latest Nike Flywire technology, SIMA award-winning board-shorts and a collaboration with artist Dalek don’t get you excited, maybe the store’s impressive expanse of shoes will get you in the shopping spirit. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, why not create what you’re looking for at the on-site customization station? Salvation’s customers are invited to collaborate on their own ideas with Nike and Converse footwear and Hurley apparel at “The Workshop,” where you can virtually create an individual product tailored to your lifestyle and fashion aesthetic.
Along with its groundbreaking retail concepts, Salvation Malibu is joining the Nike partnership with Stoked Mentoring, an organization that promotes action sports for kids to help them make good life decisions at a pivotal stage in their development. The passionate sales staff will engage youth in surf and customization sessions at the new location. With philanthropic efforts worth supporting and powerhouse brands worth sporting, Salvation Malibu’s opening has us anxious to peruse this one-of-a-kind shop.
