No, she is not in rehab again. But she is banned from partying on Malibu beaches. Last summer Malibu was host to the rise of the corporate beach party. Beachfront homes were rented out by sponsors like PR firm Fingerprint Productions (responsible for the Polaroid House) who threw wild parties that attracted celebs like Lohan and Paris Hilton, and with them the requisite scores of paparazzi.

These MTV Spring Break worthy fetes created traffic jams, noise and much unwanted publicity for Malibu locals, particularly residents of Malibu Road. In response to their outcry, the city council has passed an ordinance limiting the number of large, corporate sponsored parties to four a year, a decided decrease from last summer’s scheduling of several a week.

This will alleviate, but not solve the problem of paparazzi in Malibu. The city council is currently brainstorming ways to legally limit the photogs in Malibu by instating a “buffer zone” between them and the celebrities they shoot.
