Danny Way [Skateboarder]

By: Editor | June 15, 2011 | Ten by Ten

It would seem Danny Way was born with a skateboard under his feet. By age 15, the Portland, Ore., native was getting paid $20,000 for board sales after joining H-Street skateboards five years earlier. Way is known for bringing a fresh and unique approach to the age-old sport, traveling around the world searching for grander, more dangerous, challenges. In 2005, he used a MegaRamp to help him jump over the Great Wall of China four times, performing three tricks over the landmark’s 60-foot gap. Way has been pushing skateboarding boundaries since he was young and continues to do so today. With all his experience and awards, it is easy to see why Way is known as one of the top pro skateboarders of all time.
